Dear Ministry and Prayer Partners,

We are very thankful to be writing to you from a new location--Cotonou, Benin. We arrived the evening of January 23. We covered many miles during those 2 days and the Lord's protection through your prayers was evident in many ways. We had little to no harassment at the military and civilian checkpoints, the border crossings were tense but nothing out of the ordinary, no breakdowns, and no carsickness. Thanks so much for your prayer support during our travels. We have been given the weekend to rest up from the journey. Tomorrow, Monday, we will begin with meetings that will better define our ministry here and give us an overview of things to expect in our new setting, also will be discussing housing and business matters, and language study.

Many of you have been waiting to send things through the regular postal mail service and we finally have a new address to send to you:

Mission Baptiste' Meridionale
Guy & Cindy DeMars
01 B.P. 877
Recette Principale
Cotonou, Benin
West Africa

We would love to hear from you. As we mentioned before, please do not send any attachments, photos, etc. to our e-address. Our internet access is much more limited than our last place of service.

PRAYER REQUESTS
* Pray for another transition in our lives.
* Continue to pray for our health.
* Pray for the Grebo and the people of Ivory Coast.
* Pray for the missionaries that remain in Abidjan. We heard reports of riots today in Abidjan.

In His Name,
Guy & Cindy DeMars
